“The line between living organisms and machines has just become a whole lot blurrier. European researchers have developed "neuro-chips" in which living brain cells and silicon circuits are coupled together (Than, Ker, 2006. Brain cells fused with computer chip. Live Science, 27 March, 2006. Retrieved November 30, 2007, from http: //www. livescience.com/health/060327_neuro_chips.html).”

Reports were published on March 27, 2006 that scientists had coupled living brain cells with computer chips. This research leads to a new technology that uses organic, living brain cells as complete computer systems that interact with living organisms. Silicon based computer components become obsolete just as vacuum tubes did when the transistor was developed. The world is tied together by an organic wireless Internet protocol and computing moves away from desktop, laptop and hand held devices to organic implants that use the massive computing power of the organic network. Computer screens, sound systems and keyboards are replaced by an organic interface that is used as if it were part of the body, with images and sound projected through the brain and functions manipulated by thought.
This massive change in technology reduces the demand for traditional computer technicians, programmers and operators almost to zero. Computing is now a biological function and computers are created, maintained and directed by medical, biochemical and psychologically oriented teams. The equilibrium point of commercial and personal computing drops close to zero. The only remaining working traditional computer technicians, programmers and operators are artisans and those who service hobby and specialty markets. The demand for organically trained computer personnel rises steeply pulling wages up with them.
