We have been getting emails about our new program to digitize written, graphic, video and audio files and offer them for sale as digital downloads.
You have also let us know that you are talking to your friends and associates about our project and there couldn't be more exciting news.
A couple of questions have come up concerning copyright and file formats for written works (books, magazines etc).
If you are in the United States you can check out the U. S. Copyright Office website. Richard Schulenberg's excellent book (in the sidebar) will really open your eyes about copyright, especially as it applies to music - but writers will also learn more than you realized was possible. Of course, you should also consult with an attorney familiar with the copyright law, if you have legal questions.
After you submit your work for review, we will require that you attest that you have the right to publish the material before we post it on our site.
At this time we will require that written work be delivered to us as Word, Open Office, or other Word compatible files.
Keep talking to your friends and associates! We want to be ready to go live with this soon.
If you have questions, please email me.
